2008 Maserati Gran Turismo S
maserati has made a fabulous car even more fantastic. im not fit to be a automotive journalist but i wouldn't mind being one. in my beginner's eyes, at first glance, the rear of this car bears an uncanny resemblance to the mclaren slr. after taking a second look, i can't decide if it has accents of the mitsubishi evo x or the lexus l460. after observing for long enough, you start to feel the sleek yet strong italian styling by pininfarina. a true beauty from the trident. -applause-
i drove a part of maserati just yesterday! haha maserati is owned by fiat since 1993. i drove a fiat punto. that's like ten thousand classes difference between them (the punto and the gran turismo s)

oh yeah!! the excel file size keeps dwindling by the month and now i can see my day in the same page! thanks to a leap year i've arrived at march faster by a bit. thanks to NS my experience of a leap year is nothing but boring. i wonder when can i step out of the nmnhnblm club.
535km . i am petrolhead
535km
cheers! i'v broken my own mileage record of about 300+km in 24 hours, by a good 200+km. im pretty looking forward to the next adventure on wheels.
dinner at newton circus was a first for me believe it or not. great experience having a nice dinner with 9 year buddies. checked out a wine wholesaler at toh guan and fassler at woodlands. must try the salmon some time. looks so delicious and it's dirt cheap.
i believe the next time round we should only get one car, one big car like for example a fortuner. we share the costs and take turns to drive. unless we have talkies, it is very difficult to enjoy driving in different cars. better still, drive in somebody's own car. i wonder who will buy it first.
shortlisted!
doubt id be going, although i really want to experience how F1 is like. applied for this before going for job interview. got a job, no time for this now. :(
anything that can go wrong, will go wrong
petrolheads outing went ahead as scheduled. however there were so many unfortunate events leading to and during the outing. take it as a lesson learnt on how to organise such an event. need to invest in talkies for the subsequent outing which should be better.
will the growth dividends and gst credits please come faster. haha.. spare cash is always welcomed.
i want to fly!
just came back from seeing off serene at t3. saw so many future seniors and colleagues. stewards and stewardesses to grey suit ifs (in flight supervisors). why cant i start flying now? argh..
there will be a walk in at sheraton tmr again. maybe popping by to check out some potential future batch mates and colleagues. morally support gymy in his quest to become one of us. should see my ex classmate there too.
went to the museum for the first time after the rebuild. the interior has become more modern and sleek. the arrangement of various galleries are neat and straightforward. the ticketing system is pretty cool. a swipe card ticket and automated gantries to individual galleries. i definitely see it being compared with the likes of the louvre of paris and the national gallery of london.
i missed the thriller at anfield. torres scored a hattrick according to reports. its high time he did so. keeps him in touch with the top scorers in the league.
anybody?
why nobody try my true or false questions on facebook. go try leh. i want to see how well u know me.. the link is over there -->
You'll Never Walk Alone
Liverpool 2-0 InternazionaleKuyt 85', Gerrard 90' Inter's 30 game unbeaten run brought to an end by a top drawer performance from Liverpool at Anfield tonight. This is Liverpool's 100th European victory.
petrolhead happy again
it was a gathering of BMWs from 3 to 7 series. BMW has given Singapore Airshow quite a number of cars for ferrying foreign dignitaries. there were also special license plates allocated to the cars prefixed by "AIRSHOW" and followed by 3 digits. AIRSHOW123 was a big silver 7 series. the numbers are random i my opinion. i do not think there are so many cars.
if memory serves me well, i believe the cars for the IMF world summit had license plates prefixed by "IMF" but the numbers were only up to 2 digits.
the drivers are specially screened taxi drivers. the cars were showroom shiny. i think they are brand new and will be sold cheaper after the event. i wish i had the $ to buy one of these second hands.

okay. this is a formal announcement to all. we, the HBMW5C founding fathers, will embark on a one night only italian budget car showdown on the 27th this month. we invite all interested friends to join us in our road adventure thru the night.
we currently are still short of some camera crew to chronicle this once in a blue moon event. we are also looking for pretty co drivers who preferably can read road signs well and direct the drivers to the objective. if you are male and you think you are pretty, please stay away from us. I am NOT gay.

back to no frames, no boxes, just the plain straight layout blog. makes for easier reading too doesn't it.
it's quite fun reading your posts from like 2 years ago. i sounded like the hormone inbalanced kid. it was 3 sec crazes over every little thing. especially cars and the bose companion speakers then. it seemed like my life revolved around these things only. quite loserish i feel. i even forgotten i had the self discipline to go jog in school regularly. it had to be the blue track.
i couldn't stand my internet slangs, poor english and 1 paragraph 1000 word posts.
but i also managed to dig up some of my proudest works. including a landscape design for orchid country club. november 2005

after
it actually looks quite okay but for the wrong choice of a focus piece for the palm in the middle. it was rather small.
as you age you view things differently and also do things in a more appropriate manner. i guess this is what you call growing up.
Coach
it seems like a must have for ladies.
first saw my cousin carrying it during cny.. then browsing some friends photos online.. see more friends carrying it.. just met up with a 23 y.o exec financial planner from hsbc. and she was carrying one big tote.
i have to agree to a certain extent it is quite nice.. for some of the monogram designs.. it's just like the LV monograms.
is it the step from being girl to being a woman?
