rolls royce?

i think hongkong not only has the most number of rolls royces per capita but also PSPs and DSes.. everybody seems to be tapping on a ds in the mtr and like 2 in 5 have a psp.. the total number of the latest facelift mercedes s500, s350 i see on the streets in 3 days is staggering.. i will take about 30 years to see that same number of s classes on singapore streets.. i saw 5 rolls royces in 3 days and more than 30 bmw 7 series.. of cuz they also have the evos and stis... all with humungous exhausts.. hongkongers love porsches as well.. seen about 40 to 50 of them

however however.. it is also in hongkong where i can see a wheelchair bound guy reaching into the dustbin took a packet drink out and drink then throw it back.. where just after the turn of the street u see same hongkong ppl stepping out of boutiques holding AX and LV shopping bags..

life's like that

i still love hongkong

joy to drive

"Honda designed the Fit to achieve a best in class crash safety rating, and have an air of big car quality. It is also the first car built on Honda's new Global Small Car platform. Weighing less than 1000kg, the Fit is able to achieve a money-saving fuel economy of 23km/litre of petrol. That is also in part due to it i-DSI engine which uses two valves and two spark plugs per cylinder to provide an excellent combination of low speed torque, high performance and economy. The Fit comes with CVT, which means "continuously variable transmission" for a smooth responsive ride." - SGCarmart

got to drive it yst.. iz got it for the weekend.. but he has to use it today so cant borrow today...

the first thing which struck me was the steering.. i was amazed at how light the steering was.. the car felt so responsive and light.. so easy to drive... the racing styled front seats offered good support.. the i-dsi engine will not be as powerful as how the vtec will be but nonetheless it offered a reasonable pickup with a gentle thrust at kickdown.. some features made me even more approving of this small car. there is a small digital display below the fuel gauge shows km/l... the centre overhead lights had a dimmer and that added a touch of quality to the car.. the dash is clean and well built with ig and clear dials.. at 50-60kph thru urban areas the car amazingly quiet. however when u enter the expressway u can hear the roads quite clearly.. that is one fault i found.. otherwise this 1.3 i-dsi version is a great fun to drive and a very nice car to own for its efficiency, humungous boot space and reasonable rear legroom with me in the drivers seat..

the getz i drove 2 days ago was an even lighter car.. but it just didnt have the quality feel u get in the fit.. the engine is comparably smaller n less powerful. and the finishings felt cheap. i havnt got a chance to bring the getz out on the expressway but like the fit it did offer good sound proofing in built up areas. its smaller than the fit.. but the steering felt more unwilling.

verdict: fit is more worth the money

walk walk

went to itshow n helped cousin bought a laptop... i think somebody is a very happy person now.. mid level nec laptop which comes with scratch resistant leather surface, ir remote control.. 2gb ddr2 ram (kingston sumore) nice nvidia gfx, 120gb hdd.. omg.. her laptop is better than my desktop in every aspect... im most jealous of that 2gb ddr2 ram... saw the guy open up the bottom n put in the extra 1gb.. plus the purchase came with freebies like sdcard reader.. which she doesnt need.. so i took it frm her.. a 2gb flashdrive.. which again.. wow....n so many stuffs lah.. im so jealous...

den aft they headed home i went to do my shopping.. got lotsa cdrs to burn those episodes of topgear n all the movies i got taking up so much space in my minute 80gb hdd... was so tempted to splash the cash on a sansa 8gb... however the tester was linked to a senheisser headphone... it gave an inaccurate assessment of the player's sound quality... for hygiene reasons they did not have the tester linked to the original earphones... so tempted... but i didnt... i have learnt the art of prioritising and saving... the sony show area was inundated with ps3s linked to top of the range bravias.. i want to save hard for a ps3 and a bravia or aquos...

den i bought a 1gb imation flashdrive for my mum.. how filial...

its been a long time since i took a >15min ride on the bus to ogle at beautiful cars... on the way there i saw 2 sl350s piloted by taitais... 2 yellow f430s docked at the esso along stevens...on the way back i saw an accord euro-r with split twin 105mm (est.) exhausts... oh gosh.. that was a beauty... not the most spectacular but i saw a mazda3 with angel eye lamps.. thats quite nice too... while walking back i saw a wish which accelerated like a hayabusa... the headlights were off but the ugly yellow foglights were... the foglights were brighter than the headlights.. i suspect its the same vehicle hanging ard in bp area...

now the perpetual question... when will i ever get my own car...

Le Parkour

thx to liz who shared the video with me.. its really cool to see bpians doing these sorta things..

Le Parkour (paʁ.'kuʁ, often abbreviated to PK) or l'art du déplacement (English: the art of movement) is a physical art of French origin in which the participant — called a traceur (tʁa.'sœʁ) — attempts to pass obstacles in the fastest and most direct manner possible. The obstacles can be anything in the environment, so parkour is often practiced in urban areas because of many suitable public structures, such as buildings, rails and walls.

who wanna practise some parkour with me some day? haha
